For this simple pepperoni pizza is not necessary to prove, so that the finished in less than 30 minutes.
Ingredients for the dough
300g / 10½oz wheat flour, plus extra for dusting
1 x 7 g sachet fast-action yeast
1 ½ tsp salt
175ml / 6FL ounces hot water
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for greasing
100 ml / oz 3½fl passata
1 roasted red pepper, skin removed, cut (or 200 g / 7 oz jar small, spicy roasted chili, available from the special and online)
200g / 7 oz pepperoni, sliced
Sliced 200g / 7 oz mozzarella into pieces or sliced
Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
a few sprigs of fresh basil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preheat the oven to 240C / 220 fan / gas. 9
Place in a large bowl for pizza dough, flour, yeast, loan calculator and salt and stir to combine. Make a mix hole in the center of the simple finance ingredients and in hot water and oil.
